The "Big Love" star was spotted sitting next to the TV personality, real name Paul DelVecchio, at a New York Knicks basketball game earlier this month, prompting speculation they are romantically involved.

But Sevigny's rep has been quick to shoot down the gossip, telling GossipCop.com the rumors are "not true".

The superstar opened the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls in April 2010 but reveals she's already in the process of "implementing several changes" to improve it.

A statement from Madonna reads, "My original vision is now on a much bigger scale. I want to reach thousands not hundreds of girls. I want to do more and I want to do it better... I remain deeply committed and am more passionate than ever about helping the children of Malawi - especially the girls. In a country where only 33 per cent of Malawian girls attend secondary school, I realize that the plans we had in place for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls simply would not serve enough children."

The singer has plans to build even more schools, and vows to continue with her involvement. She adds, "This is a larger challenge than I thought, but I welcome it. We are focused on an approach which builds schools within communities across the country."

"We are currently determining the size, location, staffing and curriculum of the schools. I will continue to monitor the process of reaching these goals here and through my ongoing visits to Malawi."

The rappers left the group - which also featured Lauryn Hill - in 1997, before getting back together in 2004 for a short-lived reunion. They appeared to have fallen out last year when Pras refused to support Jean in his bid for the Haitian presidency.

Cooper revealed she gave paramedics who raced to the singer's rented Holmby Hills, Los Angeles home the authorization to pronounce the "Thriller" singer dead. However, Murray - who found the star's lifeless body in his bedroom - insisted they try to resuscitate the King of Pop for almost an hour. Cooper told the court on Thursday, January 6 she authorized paramedics to pronounce Jackson dead at 12.57 P.M. on 25 June, 2009, but they declined at Murray's request - and because of the singer's celebrity.

Cooper officially pronounced Jackson dead at 2.26 P.M. after the singer's body arrived at the hospital. Murray's girlfriend Nicole Alvarez, who the doctor called from the ambulance to UCLA, has been ordered to appear in court on Friday, January 7. The preliminary hearing began on Tuesday, January 4 and is expected to last two weeks.

They held off on amputating the limb, hoping that a course of strong antibiotics might give them options, but von Anhalt told TMZ.com on Thursday, January 6 he had been given 24 hours to decide whether or not to give doctors the go ahead to perform a life-threatening operation on the 93-year-old TV star.

Von Anhalt now tells the website doctors will administer anaesthesia to Gabor on Friday. TMZ.com reports doctors will attempt to remove a blood clot. If they determine it can't be removed, von Anhalt says medics will then amputate half her leg.

Hollywood actor and activist Sean Penn is to be honored for his charity work in Haiti by the Producers Guild of America. The Oscar winner co-founded the J/P HRO Haitian Relief Organization in the wake of the January 2010 earthquake and has spent months in the Caribbean nation helping to distribute food and medical supplies, as well as build schools and hospitals.

He has also set up a campsite in the country's capital, Port-au-Prince, to help provide temporary housing for an estimated 50,000 survivors left homeless by the tremors. Penn was made a knight in Haiti in July 2010 and was also honored with last year's Hollywood Humanitarian Award - and now his tireless charity work has landed him another accolade, the Producers Guild's 2011 Stanley Kramer Award.

He will be honored at the PGA's annual awards ceremony, which will be held on January 22 in Los Angeles. Penn is the first individual to receive the prize, established in 2002 to honor "a motion picture, producer or individual whose achievement or contribution illuminates provocative social issues in an accessible and elevating fashion".

Penn is no stranger to the honor - his movie "I Am Sam" was the first recipient of the award. Other previous honorees include "The Great Debaters", "An Inconvenient Truth", "Hotel Rwanda", "Antwone Fisher" and 2010 "Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire".

And while the Beastie Boys' previously announced first project, "Hot Sauce Committee, Part 1", is "still delayed", Mike D insists fans will be treated to some new music very soon. He says, "The second one is coming out as originally scheduled."

The rapper claimed the Beastie Boys were "open" to touring to promote the upcoming release, but admitted it will all depend on how 46-year-old Yauch's health holds up. Mike D continues, "We're still going to have to see how he's doing."

A statement from Holley reads, "I had numerous conversations with Betty Ford counsellors and doctors over the course of Lindsay's treatment there and it was never suggested by anyone that she ever drank or used drugs. Her discharge letter from the facility is totally consistent with that."

Lohan appears to be concentrating on getting healthy now she's no longer in rehab - after moving into her new Venice, California home, the actress has been spotted working out at a West Hollywood gym.
